Negotiating and contracting in procurement and supply module, is aimed at ensuring that on completion you will be in a position to among other things,
- Achieve negotiated agreements with external organisations, AND
- Recognise the use of legal terms that should regulate commercial agreements.
The general learning outcomes as far as the current syllabus, which will be changing in 2019, is concerned is to ensure that you are able to:
- Understand the legal issues that relate to the formation of contracts
- Understand the main approaches in the negotiation of commercial agreements with external organisations
- Understand how to prepare for negotiations with external organisations
- Understand how commercial negotiations should be undertaken
