This unit is aimed at ensuring that on completion you will be in a position to apply methods to improve supplier performance, recognizing the need for a structured approach when dealing with performance and relationship issues.

The general learning outcomes as far as the current syllabus, which will be changing in 2019, is concerned is to ensure that you are able to:

• Understand the dynamics of relationships in supply chains
• Understand the legal aspects relating to the performance of contracts
• Understand the main approaches to achieve the management of contracts
• Understand the main techniques for the management of contracts and suppliers
